Lil Nas X Detained by Police After Public Incident in Los Angeles

“Old Town Road” artist Lil Nas X was apprehended and transported to the hospital early Thursday after being discovered walking naked in the street and lunging at police officers in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department stated that officers arrived at the 11000 block of Ventura Boulevard shortly before 6 a.m. following reports of a man without clothing. Authorities reported that the man rushed at the officers upon their arrival.
“Police stated he was taken to a nearby hospital for a potential overdose and arrested for assaulting a police officer.”
An investigative law enforcement source informed that the individual in question was Montero Lamar Hill, better known as Lil Nas X. The source stated that Hill also struck an officer two times in the face during the incident.
Authorities were uncertain if Hill was under the influence of drugs or experiencing a mental crisis, the source stated.
Booking records for Hill were not instantly accessible in the Los Angeles County database. A spokesperson for Hill did not promptly reply to a request for comments on Thursday.
Hill was spotted strolling along the center of Ventura Boulevard in Studio City at 4 a.m. Thursday wearing white briefs and cowboy boots in a video shared exclusively with TMZ.
In the footage published by TMZ, Hill instructs the driver to “come to the party” in one segment and in another, he says, “Didn’t I ask you to put the phone down?”
“Uh oh, someone is going to need to cover that,” Hill comments while he keeps walking away.
